Meaning of the Sri Chakra Practice: The Model and the Mechanism (Streaming Video)

by Swami Chetanananda

The Sri Chakra is the image at the heart of Shakta Saiva tantric practice.

In this three-part program Swamiji shares in-depth insights about the meaning of the Sri Chakra and its implications for spiritual practice. He explains why it is his own core practice, and how, though rooted in an ancient tradition, it is relevant in our modern, ever-changing world.

Part 1: The Importance of a Model (1:30)

Part 2: Consciousness, Reality, and Turbulence (1:48)

Part 3: The Sri Chakra Puja (1:20)

This program does not teach the puja, but it reveals why we practice it and the purpose of every aspect of the practice.

It is recommended for anyone interested in investigating this practice as well as for current practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Sri Chakra practice.

Recorded December 2017.
