The Movement Center offers structured retreat programs throughout the year. Each of them focuses on meditation, hatha yoga, or another area of spiritual practice. These are immersion-style retreats intended to guide you through commencing or deepening your practice to provide a basis for sustained growth and transformation.

We encourage retreat participants to stay on site for the fullest experience and freedom from distractions. Commuters from the Portland area are welcome, however, and are offered a special rate.

Our next group retreat is the Re-Center Your Life program, a 3 day meditation immersion that is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. It is offered June 23 - 25. The daily program includes several meditation sessions, hatha yoga, chanting, and a healing ritual or puja.


The primary focus of the Re-Center Your Life program is Kundalini Meditation, which awakens your potential for spiritual growth and empowers you to live a full, creative life. Through relaxation and conscious breathing into the chakras, you become aware of the joy in your heart, and learn to extend that experience into your whole life. This simple, profound, transformative practice is accessible to anyone.

I have learned that meditation or yoga doesn’t have to be hard or mysterious or something that only a few people can have access to or practice - a sense of well-being and peace is as close and intimate as our breath. The Movement Center provides a welcoming home within which to practice.
