Swami Chetanananda discusses the historical context of possession and its role in Indian culture and spirituality.  He explains how possession relates to chakras and channels in our meditation practice.  Further, he explains that Nityananda was in a constant state of possession and that when teaching, Rudi went into a similar state.

Swami Chetanananda is a master of Trika Yoga practice and a teacher in the lineage of Bhagavan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri. He is the abbot and spiritual director of The Movement Center, based in Portland, Oregon.
