Monday, April 12: Brain Fitness: Keeping your Brain Sharp (Arlin Brown, MD)
Is mental decline inevitable as we age, or are there things we can do to keep our brains sharp? In this talk, you will learn about practical things you can do to keep your brain healthy as well as help in its daily functioning.

Monday, May 10: Crazy Busy: Coping with Stress in the 21st Century (Arlin Brown, MD) Crazybusy is a term coined by psychiatrist Edward M. Hallowell to describe the stressed state many people experience due to our modern age of information overload, high tech communication, and busy schedules. Learn to identify if you are in this state of stress and steps you can take to cope with it.

Monday, June 14: Acupuncture and Microcurrent in Treating Pain (John Slosberg, LAc)
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to treat pain. Now, by adding microcurrent, we're seeing results that weren't possible before. Learn about how microcurrent is used and the kinds of problems it can help.

Monday, July 12: The Puzzle of Pain (Dan Sisco, ND)
Pain can be difficult to manage for both patient and physician. Learn techniques for managing everything from mild discomfort to deeper types of pain. This should be a lively interactive discussion with stories and practical tools to round out the session.

Laurie SaundersMonday, September 13: Therapeutic Yoga & Chronic Health Conditions (Laurie Saunders, RYT)
This talk will give a broad overview of the "yoga therapy" movement (including its advocates and detractors), the research and clinical interface with mainstream medicine, and the core findings which link yoga effects to diverse conditions ranging from cardiovascular disease to PTSD.
