According to Traditional Tibetan Medicine, ultimate healing can only be achieved if approached from the level of body, energy, and mind. In this public talk Christiana Polites will introduce the Yuthok Nyinghtik tradition, the spiritual practice of Tibetan physicians, and guide us in a Medicine Buddha healing practice from Ju Mipham’s Mantra Healing Treatise. This simple but profound meditation utilizes the power of visualization and mantra (light and sound) and can be used for healing self and others.
A more in depth study of Tibetan Medicine and meditation will be offered this summer at the Movement Center with visiting master Tibetan doctor and yogi, Dr Nida Chenagtsang July 9 - 12. Please visit www.sorigkhangportland.org/schedule for more information!]
