Alam Khan, son of the late Maestro Ali Akbar Khan, will be here for a concert on Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 pm. He'll be joined by his brother, Manik Khan, on tamboura, and Nilan Chaudhuri, Swapan Chaudhuri's son, who will be making his first public appearance, on tabla. This is the first concert Alam has performed since Khansahib's death. Alam has been performing regularly for the past several years, and is becoming well-known as a sarod artist in his own right.
